JONNY Marray is hoping for a strong start in today’s ATP 500 Series ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament quarter final in Rotterdam.
Now Marray and Fleming will take on third seeds Robert Lindstedt and Nena Zimonjic for a place in the last four.
Sheffield-based Marray told The Star: “We got caught a bit cold (yesterday) and when you lose the first set you know the best you can do is force the super tie-break (first to 10 points in the third set).
“There’s no real secret to it you just have to come out well. We like to serve in the first game if we win the toss so they’re always playing catch up.
“Robert and Nena are a strong pair. They’ve come together this season and we know there are no easy games at this level.”
Marray’s match is scheduled to be fourth on centre court in Rotterdam. Play starts at 11am local time.
