Sheffield Tigers are expecting one of their toughest tests of the season this weekend when they travel to Caldy.
Caldy are two places below the Tigers in the table, and trail by ten points.
Tigers beat Luctonians last weekend, and coach Ben Wade said: “Last Saturdays game was a great performance, and it was all Sheffield Tigers players, we had no loan players from Rotherham for that game.
“That shows that we have a very good squad, who work very hard and they have the fitness to grind a team down then score points in the last quarter of a game to secure bonus points.”
Wade added: “This weekend is a very tough prospect.
“Caldy have a solid defence and this is one of the hardest away games we’ll have this season.
“Their league position doesn’t reflect their season, and we will have to be on top of our game if we are going to come away with a good result.
“The good news is we are back to full strength with the forwards and backs and we also have a strong bench.”
Sheffield RUFC, meanwhile, travel to Morpeth this weekend (3pm).
They kept up their drive for promotion with an 18-12 win at home to Old Crossleyans last weekend.
