Child’s play at Abbeydale Park and Bawtry Road as youngsters received top class rugby and cricket coaching.
The Kiwis were out in force to the benefit of Sheffield Rugby Union Club’s mini and junior players at the Rucks ‘n Mauls summer school.
New Zealand coaches Mike Coutts and Graham Torrie helped hone the youngsters ball skills while tackling, rucks, mauls and daily touch rugby games were also on the agenda.
The sessions continue today and tomorrow (9am to 3.15pm). Meanwhile Sheffield United CC brought their new Howzat Cricket Camps into the spotlight at the Graham Solly Sports Centre at Tinsley.
ECB qualified coaches Bob Cummins and Dean Smith tuaght all aspects of the game to boys and girls of all abilities aged eight to 13.
