Will’s quality Street and Castle is king

Quality Street for Sheffield Collegiate and King of the Castle for Premier Division leaders Attock.

Will Street bagged a remarkable seven wickets for 12 runs in just two overs to shatter Sheffield Friends hopes of victory.

Collegiate hit an impressive 163-8 (Stewart 59, W Root 30; I.Ahmed 3-47) and then Friends failed to get Street-wise as they slid to 112 all out (J Younis 35).

J Castle was the man of the moment for Attock as they maintained their unbeaten run with victory over Al-Mahdi. He grabbed 3-12 to help bowl out Al-Maddi for 109 (R Khan 46) and then the opener hit 47 to guide his team to an eight wicket win.

Darnall made 120-8 (Davis 64; Clarke 4-38), which Waterworks found tantalisingly beyond their reach as they ended on 115-4 (N.Dymock 50*). Frechville and Kashmir are both unbeaten in Division A. Frecheville cruised to an easy eight wicket win over Millhouses Works, who were restricted to 116-6 (Dewsbury 32, Woolway 31; Ratcliffe 3-14). It took Frecheville just 10 overs to get to their target (Ratcliffe 43*, Dexter 35).

Hollinsend head Division B with three wins from three games. They racked up a fine 159-9 at Norton Oakes (Parker 41, Thew 33) and then felled the home side for 88 (Elliott 3-5).

In Division C, joint leaders Richmond and Hallam Lodgers are both undefeated. Richmond scored 117-3 (Holland 43, Shah 38) and restricted Transport to 64-9 (Rehman 3-7) while Hallam edged out Wednesday in a nail-biting finish. Hallam made 118-8 (Trenall 40; Downing 3-12) and Wednesday, led by Ben Heap 63 not out, fell one run short with seven wickets down (Brown 3-29).
