Here are ten things you can do today.

4 Chapeltown 50 plus Club, monthly session includes tea or coffee, a speaker, raffle and a chat, plus outings and weekly Scrabble club, Newton Hall, Chapeltown, 10.15am-12.15pm (Joan, 2400567).

5 Contemporary Dance Class, Hype Dance Studio space, Leadmill Road, 8-9pm (no experience required, £4 per class, 2706757).

6 Darnall Craft Group, learn and practise a variety of crafts in friendly company, Darnall Medical Aid Hall, Fisher Lane, 10am-2pm (£1 per week).

7 British Military Fitness, 'absolute beginner' exercise classes specifically aimed at individuals who do little or no exercise and want to start getting fit but are scared to attend the gym or other fitness classes, Graves Park, 7pm.

8 Bingo, The Bell, Upwell Street, 1-4pm (2449454).

9 Folk Night, Red Deer, Pitt Street, off West Street, 8pm

10 Kasabian, Leiceter indie rockers, 02 Academy, Arundel Gate.
