Here are ten things you can do today.
||2322|| Sheffield Pride, open event for all members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, families, friends and supporters, Endcliffe Park, Saturday, 1pm-7pm.

||2120|| Swap Shop, bring clothes, books, CDs or anything else to exchange, The Co-op cafe, London Road, 12-3pm (£1 with tea). .

||1918|| Avatars, exhibition of digital art made by the children of Hunter's Bar Junior School working with the Sheffield based digital arts organisation Lovebytes to design their own characters and make computer games and interactive art, Showroom Cinema Lightwell, Paternoster Row.

16|| Simon Peat, Walnut Club Restaurant, Hathersage, 7.30pm.

||1514|| Wild Flower Walk, Rivelin Valley Conservation Group, meet at 11am at Carver Fields Top Gate, Crosspool (2306194).

12|| Never Mind the Balkans, with Max Pashm and his band, and Na Zdrove DJs playing klezmer, gypsy punk and Russian ska, The Shakespeare, Gibraltar Street, 9pm-1am (£5).

||1110|| The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, the musical that was inspired by the real-life Chicken Ranch in La Grange, Texas.presented by Handsworth and Hallam Theatre Company, University Drama Studio, Glossop Road, 7.30pm (£9.50/ £8, 2476179 or 2470907).

8|| Sheffield Symphony Orchestra, conductor John Longstaff, welcome back the multi-talented Peter Foggitt wearing his pianist's cap (he's also a composer and bass-baritone of some repute, among other things) as the soloist in Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No 1. The concert starts with Prokofiev's Symphony No 1 – 'Classical,' and ends with Sibelius's Symphony No 5. St Mark's Church, Broomhill, Saturday, 7.30pm (£8.50/ £6.50 unwaged/ £4.50 students, children).

9 Festival Garden Party, starts with the arrival of the fancy dress parade. All the usual attractions, including New Orleans Strollers, Sheffield Concert Band, an 'Our Time, Our Place' café, art and photography exhibitions, stalls, sideshows, children's entertainment, licensed bar and grand raffle. St Mark's Green, 2pm-5pm (£1, children free).

10 Annual Convention of the Yorkshire Philatelic Association, Sheffield Wednesday Hillsborough Conference Centre, 9.30am-4.30pm.
