CHESTERFIELD'S Brief Candle Theatre Company will be premiering their latest production at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this month.
No Place for Dreams is an intelligent, exciting and dramatic piece of family theatre written by local playwright Paul Whitfield and directed by David Shimwell.

No Place for Dreams is a fantastical fairytale. Set on a mysterious volcanic island, it tells of the struggles of the young boy Loam – one of the people of the Soil – to break free from the rigid structures of the island society. In his quest, he meets other inhabitants of the island: Asha, a Flame; Shell, a Spray-Rider and Nimbus, a Wind-Eater. Together, they have exciting adventures and discover things about themselves and each other they had never dreamed of...

No Place for Dreams will be performed by Brief Candle Theatre at The Space @ Venue 45 Mondays to Saturdays at 1pm from Monday 4 August to Saturday August 23. Tickets may be booked in advance from the Fringe Box Office on 0131 226 0000 or from the venue on 0131 556 0476.
