MAGIC of the Dance claims to be the world's most explosive Irish dance phenomenon with tap-dancing so powerful that the spectacle of a dancer's shoes bursting into flames is part of the show.

Arriving at the Lyceum as it heads towards its tenth anniversary, the global smash-hit takes the Irish Dance phenomenon to new heights with new choreography and explosive special effects.

The innovative choreography by John Carey is set to a love story of good versus evil set in a famine-stricken Ireland narrated by screen legend Christopher Lee.

Performers include world champion and Broadway star Suzanne Cleary and two times world champion Dermot Cullen alongside Ciaran Maguire and original cast member, Collette Dunne. Now on its fifth UK tour, Magic of the Dance has developed the Irish dance genre into a complete theatre experience for families and dance enthusiasts alike which has also been enjoyed in such cities as Paris, Vienna, Barcelona, Oslo, Rio de Janeiro, Toronto and Reno.

lMagic Of The Dance is at the Lyceum from Thursday to Saturday.
