A group of Buddhist soldier monks take to stage in Sheffield later this year to showcase defensive martial arts refined to perfection over fifteen centuries.
The legendary Shaolin Monks will be bringing their show Wheel of Lige to the City Hall on October 29.

Direct from the fabled Shaolin temple in the foothills of the Song Shang mountain range in China's Henan province, 20 Shaolin monks and five young trainees will be demonstrating their martial arts expertise in an awe-inspiring performance.

The Shaolin Monks are the ultimate masters of Kung Fu, Buddhist soldier monks who have refined defensive martial arts over a period of fifteen centuries to a rare and spectacular point of perfection.

Wheel of Life showcases near-miraculous feats of physical endurance, from breaking iron bars against their heads to balancing on razor sharp spears.

The show is directed by Interview with a Vampire director Micha Bergese, with choreography by Darshan Singh Bhuller, music by John Harle, and designed by Mark Fisher, who also desgined both the opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing Olympics.
