A SHEFFIELD student who suffered serious head injuries in an attack in West Street last May has been transferred to a hospital closer to home in Richmond in North Yorkshire.
The condition of Adrian Shield, aged 21, who was just weeks away from completing his degree, has improved sufficiently for him to be moved to a hospital in Middlesbrough, However, doctors say it may take 18 months for him to make a full recovery.
