Sheffield Hallam University will feature in a documentary being shown on ITV1 next week about HRH the Duke of Edinburgh.
'The Duke, A Portrait of Prince Philip', is being broadcast over two nights - Monday May 12 and Tuesday May 13 at 9pm and will include substantial footage of when he visited the Robert Winston Building at Collegiate Campus last December.

The Duke
saw practical demonstrations by student nurses and paramedics, listened to the heart of a simulated patient and watched paediatric nurses save the life of a simulated baby.

The Duke also visited the Faculty of Health and Well Being's X-Ray suite, radiotherapy planning suite and operating theatre, and spoke to student nurses, midwives, paramedics, physiotherapists, radiographers and oncologists.

He also met the sports engineering team at the University's Centre for Sport and Exercise Science and was shown various products being developed for Olympic sports and elite athletes.

The documentary makers, Indigo TV, asked Sheffield Hallam if they could film the visit as part of the programme which is narrated by Sir Trevor McDonald.

The visit was hosted by the Vice Chancellor Professor Philip Jones and the Lord Lieutenant of South Yorkshire David Moody.
