Once upon a time everything that could go wrong went wrong. Finally luck has turned for a Sheffield band.
The band, who in their own words was "a very strange mix of personalities with everything that could go wrong, going wrong", has taken a long step forward.
First Pocket Last is one of just sixteen bands through to the second round of Exposed magazine, Bench and Harley's band competition.

Dean Radford and Ian Davies soon after started jamming, and Ian called his former band mates Matt Churchard and Kev Rice. All four of them started practicing in a green, old shed.
Within a short amount of time they found they were producing some first class original songs.
Their mix of modern day English rock n' roll with a twist of funk and grunge First Pocket Last show their collective 60's come 90's influences, that include The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, Stone Roses and Ocean Colour Scene.
The band claim live is where they are "most comfortable and best heard".
