A group of former Sheffield students are coming back to the city hoping to make it on to T4's MobileAct auditions.
The band Phoneydocuments met at university in Sheffield and played together as students but have now left town.

"We had a great response at uni but since coming home it's pretty hard to meet up regularly as we are spread allover," said JaC.

Last year the band just missed out of auditions for the T4 show MobileAct. Only the 25 top bands made it to through, and Phoneydocuments came 27.

Now the bands members, SparoGyro, Puf JaC!, SuedeFace, Bucket, DrCalpol and NoHotPants, are planning to return to Sheffield hoping this time they will make it to the auditions.

"If we get an audition we will be meeting up and hopefully bringing something new to the music scene from Sheffield," said JaC.

"We have a lot of potential but struggle to meet up. This could bring us together and we could really achieve something great, but we can only do this with public votes," he continued.
