A group of old school friends played their first gig together in January this year, since then Risky Heroes have performed almost weekly.
Aiden Smith (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Lee Fowler (Lead Guitar), John Barraclough (Drums), and & James Flint (Bass Guitar) decided to form an Indie band in 2007.

On January 25 2008 the Mosborough boys played their first gig to an audience of 120 friends and family.

"We have played gigs nearly every week we have played all over Sheffield and now playing further a field, we have played places like The Grapes, The Boardwalk & loads of pubs and bars around and Sheffield and have been lucky enough to play The Winterton Festival in Scunthorpe and The Belton Rockfest in Belton North Lincolnshire," said Lee.

The band got their name, Risky Heroes, by making an anagram of S.E Yorkshire, where they are all from.
