Junction 31 from Rotherham have secured a place in the Live and Unsigned 2009 Area Final with just one performance away from making the national finals of the competition.
The unsigned Punk Rock band 'Junction 31' performed at Sheffield City Hall last Sunday.

The next round, the North-West Area Final, will take place on Sunday May 3 at 'The Willows' Salford, Manchester.

Chris Sanderson, one of the four Junction 31 band members, said:

"This will be without doubt one of the biggest days of our lives so far, and are hoping that we go all the way to the televised finals."

The winner of Live and Unsigned will receive £20'000 investment and a recording contract.
