The show was part of the Leap Conference 2008, hosted by Creative Partnerships, and a result of the pupils having worked with Proper Job Theatre company to animate their learning. The long-term programme used creative methods to bring together science and maths.

Creative Partnerships works with 39 schools across the city to embed creativity into the curriculum. It works closely with schools to find long-term creative solutions to areas in which the school would like to improve.
