A new art exhibition inspired by the Tour de France coming to Yorkshire at Sheffield Hallam University is now open and runs until August 3.
The show at the Sheffield Institute of Arts Gallery is part of the Grand Départ Cultural Festival Fringe and features work by students from the university’s creative courses.
It features works in interior design, fashion design, graphic design, and metalwork and jewellery.
Manager Tim Machin said: “Our students have interpreted what this huge sporting event coming to Yorkshire means to them. They’ve looked at the bike as an object, as a symbol, and as a cultural artefact.”
