A South Yorkshire nature reserve is to be the venue for a special outdoor performance of The Wind in the Willows.
Tin Pot Theatre members are staging the production at the RSPB Old Moor reserve, near Barnsley.
Three outdoor shows will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 15-17.
The event follows the success of last year’s show, Fantastic Mr Fox.
Liane Holdsworth, visitor experience officer at the reserve, said: “Everybody enjoyed last year’s event, so we were keen to work with Tin Pot Theatre again.
“It’s an exciting and unusual opportunity for people to see a theatre performance in a different environment.”
The Wind in the Willows, a classic children’s tale by Kenneth Grahame, has been adapted for the stage by Mike Kenny.
Liane said: “It will be a lovely event for all the family.
“Bring your own picnic blanket or beanbag and settle back on the lawn as the adventure unfolds around you.”
The Friday and Saturday shows are at 6pm, while a matinee show is at 3pm on the Sunday.
Tickets, priced £7 and £8, are available to buy at Old Moor Visitor Centre. Booking is essential.
