Pupils at a Sheffield school were amazed when talented teens Bars and Melody guest starred at their end-of-term awards assembly.
The pair - rapper Leondre Devries, aged 13, and singer Charlie Lenehan, 15 - performed their debut single Hopeful at Silverdale School.
The duo made their names in the most recent series of Britain’s Got Talent, where they finished third despite being the bookies’ favourite.
After the series they signed a record deal with Simon Cowell’s Syco label.
The youngsters, from Wales and Bristol, also helped launch an anti-bullying initiative at the school, and Leondre shared his own experiences of being bullied at his school in Port Talbot.
After the assembly the pair answered questioned from pupils and posed for photos.
School spokeswoman Jill Rishworth said: “Bars and Melody left a lasting impression on the school - the visit was a complete surprise.”
