Boardwalk plan runs into neighbour protest

Have your say

Plans to reopen the former Boardwalk live music venue as a gay club and bar have prompted objections from neighbours worried about the noise and other disturbance.

The landlord of apartments in Bank Street and solicitors on the same road are raising concerns over the impact of the new venue with potential opening hours of 10am to 6.20am.

Councillors are due to consider next Tuesday a licence for a club called Fuel in the old Boardwalk and a bar called Twist in the old Under The Boardwalk, off Snig Hill.
