A Million Ways To Die In The West is the new cowboy comedy film from Seth Macfarlane and we are celebrating its opening weekend with fun prizes, writes Graham Walker.

First prize is an official merchandise pack - worth £80 - courtesy of distributors Universal, plus a pair of tickets to see the film at Cineworld Sheffield.

Other goodies include a Long John premium onesie, metal sheriff badge bottle opener, playing cards with gunshot holes and a saloon door notebook.

Four runners-up will each get a pair of tickets to see it at Cineworld Sheffield.

The film, certificate 15, was co-written, produced, directed and stars Seth MacFarlane - creator of Family Guy and Ted.

He plays cowardly sheep farmer Albertho, who backs out of a gunfight because he’s never fired his gun and his fickle girlfriend leaves him for another man - the proprietor of the town’s foremost moustache emporium.

When he accidentally saves the life of a mysterious and beautiful woman, she helps him find his courage and learn to stand up for himself.

But when her husband, a notorious outlaw, arrives seeking revenge the sheep farmer must triumph over all of the hilariously awful dangers of the old west in order to save her.

The 1hr 56min‎‎ film also stars Amanda Seyfried, Liam Neeson, Charlize Theron, Giovanni Ribisi, Sarah Silverman, Rex Linn and Ralph Garman.
