Katy B headlining Sheffield's Tramlines Festival 2014

Public Enemy, Katy B, Sister Sledge, The Cribs, Annie Mac, Ms Dynamite and Toddla T Sound are just some of the huge names on track to play Tramlines – Sheffield’s own ‘urban Glastonbury’, writes Graham Walker.

There will be lots of free shows.

But around 200 acts, including 150 local bands, will play ticketed events at 15 city centre venues including the main stage in Devonshire Green.

And we have five pairs of weekend wristbands to be won to guarantee you a festival you’ll never forget, July 25 to 27.

For an ultimate guide to all the highlights see a special exclusive feature in The Star on Monday by head of programming, Kate Hewett.

As ever, the festival features artists from a wide range of musical genres, and it’s also a great opportunity to catch some future stars.

For more details and updates visit the official event web site at tramlines.org.uk

Guarantee your weekend tickets for only £28 – it’s one of the cheapest festival experiences in the country.

Advance weekend tickets are available from tramlines.org.uk or from a variety of venues around the city including The Leadmill, The Harley and The University of Sheffield box office.

Weekend tickets are available in advance only and come with a free festival programme. Advance day tickets are £12.
