Eckington City Players are putting on a special production to celebrate the dramatic society’s 60th anniversary.

The talented actors are performing a romantic comedy titled ‘No Love Lost’ at The Corner Playhouse in Eckington up to July 19.

The play was written by BBC Radio Sheffield presenter Rony Robinson and marks his 30th year as a presenter at the radio station.

Nick Di Nitto, the society’s chair who is directing the production, said: “The romantic comedy is a great show and promises to entertain audiences.

“The group has been rehearsing hard for the last three months and all are now really looking forward to getting on the stage for the performances.”

Tickets for No Love Lost cost £10 and are available from The Corner Playhouse box office on 01246 430507.
