SHE’S chosen the dress, the make-up is ready and waiting – now all she has to do is impress the judges!

Aspiring model Hayley Pashley is taking on rivals from across the country at a top teen beauty contest later this month.

Hayley, aged 15, from Handsworth, is one of 30 girls through to the final of the Miss Teen British Isles Contest, taking place on October 27.

The schoolgirl, in Year 11 at Brinsworth Comprehensive, said she was thrilled to get so far in the competition.

“I’m really happy,” she said. “It would be nice to win but I’m glad to get this far. I’m excited, but nervous.”

Hayley has been modelling for three years. Past projects have included being photographed for local clothing firms.

“I enjoy it quite a bit, it’s better when there’s more girls in a group. We have a nice time and you meet nice people.

“In the future I’d like to carry on doing it part-time and have a job as well.”

She said she has chosen a baby pink dress for the final, being held in Southport, Merseyside.

“It’s a really nice dress. I’m having a hairdresser and make-up artist backstage on the day too.”

Finalists will rehearse on the morning of the contest before parading for judges in evening and casual wear.

Hayley stands to win £2,000 in cash and £10,000 worth of other prizes if she comes out on top.
