Hundreds hotfooted it into Sheffield city centre to take part in the annual Chance to Dance festival.

The celebration was first staged in 2000 and has proved popular almost every year since. More than 60 performances took place at venues across the city centre, including Barker’s Pool, Leopold Square, Tudor Square, the Peace Gardens and the Winter Garden. Dance of all descriptions was represented, such as salsa, street and jive, as well as bellydancing from the Sahar Wal Farashat troupe, pictured above.
