Photographic display zooms in on the work of society in Sheffield

The Sheffield Photographic Society is putting members’ work in the frame at its annual Perspectives exhibition.

More than 100 images taken throughout the year by society members will be on display in the Winter Garden from noon on Monday until Sunday, November 15.

The Lord Mayor of Sheffield Councillor Talib Hussain will officially open the exhibition on Monday.

Members of the society will be on hand at lunchtimes on weekdays and from 11am until 3pm on weekends to give information about the group or to talk about the images and photography.

Sheffield Photographic Society was established in 1864 and last year celebrated its 150th anniversary, making it one of the oldest photographic clubs in the world.
