Are you a cook?
I’m not too bad – when I put my mind to it!
Any cooking tips?
Don’t worry about following recipes to the letter and having all the right ingredients – just do what you like. The person who wrote the recipe book will never know!
What’s your favourite dish?
If it came down to it, it would have to be steak, chips and pepper sauce – the classics never get old.
And a drink to go with it?
For me it is always a nice bottle of red wine.
Your favourite restaurant in the Sheffield area?
I am a big fan of the Greek restaurant Parthenonas on London Road.
The Fat Cat at Kelham Island – Pale Rider and a pork pie? Yes please!
What’s the worst meal you’ve ever had?
I couldn’t possibly say…
And the best?
Without a shadow of a doubt the best meal I’ve had so far was at Fischers in Baslow. It was exceptional.
Your favourite TV cook?
For recipes that I can make at home it has to be Jamie Oliver (plus I like his ethos towards food). I also love Raymond Blanc; he’s just so French.
What do you think of Sheffield as a place to eat out?
I love eating out in Sheffield. There are always new places popping up and it doesn’t matter what mood you’re in, you’ll always find something you fancy!
