Have your say

Are you a cook?

I try my best! When it goes right, I find it therapeutic and a good way to unwind.

Any cooking tips?

Be confident, use fresh ingredients and trust your instincts.

Your favourite dish?

Nice and simple – baked camembert with a load of fresh French bread to dunk.

And a drink to go with it?

A large glass of red.

Your favourite restaurant in the Sheffield area?

For curry, Aagrah; Chinese, Hui Wei; VeroGusto is great for Italian and Tamper Coffee Sellers Wheel for lunch.

And pub?

Our local, the Fat Cat at Kelham Island.

What’s the worst meal you’ve ever had?

I’ve had a few ropey Chinese meals in my time. I actually thought I was allergic to Chinese food for years because they made me so ill.

And the best?

I love food too much to pick just one.

Your favourite TV cook?

I’m Team Nigella all the way!

What do you think of Sheffield as a place to eat out?

It’s definitely improving and, if you venture out of the city centre, there are lots of brilliant little restaurants to be found.
