Are you a cook?
Not really. After a busy day I love my food prepared when I get home!
Any cooking tips?
Do all the washing up and you’ll find you get fed.
What’s your favourite dish?
I do like a nice medium rare fillet steak in peppercorn sauce with three-times-cooked chips.
And a drink to go with it?
A nice lager like Peroni or a local real ale: Thornbridge Jaipur is a favourite.
Your favourite restaurant in the Sheffield area?
Little Italy in Dronfield: they have a gorgeous pepperoni pasta dish or a super steak.
I rarely go to the pub – I prefer to drink at home.
What’s the worst meal you’ve ever had?
Fish and chips at the seaside. They always seems to be disappointing when you think they’d be the best.
And the best?
Chez Lahlou in Walkley, home of massive portions! I’ve never got as far as the puddings as I’m always too full. Their huge smoked salmon and prawn is a particular favourite.
Your favourite TV cook?
Hairy Bikers – love their style.
What do you think of Sheffield as a place to eat out?
Great variety of restaurants from all different parts of the world – and it’s easy to get there from Dronfield on the train!
