Tastings, tap takeovers and pub festivals galore are taking place as part of Sheffied Beer Week.
Tonight (Thursday March 16) The Bath Hotel will welcome one of the UK’s most loved breweries, Wild Beer Co, to take over the taps and host a meet the brewer evening while the The Beer Engine hosts a north versus south brewery showdown.
On Friday there’s a beer festiva at the White Lion in Heeley and an Irish craft beer showcase at Brewdog on Division Street.
Weekend highlights include a history tour of the pubs and breweries of Neepsend, the Beer Alive! festival at iceSheffield and a cheese and beer pairing at the Devonshire Cat.

Irish flavour to food festival
Celebrate St Patrick’s Day with Irish dancers, bands and fiddlers - as well as street food - at the next Street City festival off Ecclesall Road.
The family-friendly event has entertainment for children and runs from 6pm on Friday March 17 and 1pm on the Saturday.
Tapas tour of Spain
Shoppers can take a tour of Spain - at Meadowhall - after restaurant Tapas Revolution launched new ‘Evening Tours of Spain’ menus. There are three special set tapas offerings, showcasing Spain’s authentic regional cuisine, from spiced Asturian sausage roasted with cider to crispy fried aubergine with spiced honey and thyme dressing. Menus cost from £10.95 and are available after 6pm.
Shops up for awards
The farm shops at both Chatsworth and Welbeck estates are finalists in the prestigious Farm Shop & Deli awards. Winners will be announced in April.
