A new rooftop bar is set to open in Sheffield as part of the Krynkl development in Shalesmoor. Inc. Rooftop Bar is part of The Milestone Group and will overlook Kelham Island from the shipping container complex - with a part open rooftop so that it can be used all year round.
It is to operate as a cafe and bar, with coffee in the mornings and cocktails throughout the day - with plans for live music, street food pop ups and fixed menus from next year.
Stacey Sherwood, operations manager, said: “Inc. will offer a variety of drinks for everyone, whether a relaxing morning coffee, business meeting, afternoon drink, after work or catch up night out with friends.”
“Our drink philosophy is not founded just on liquor but rather on the service and experience via the appreciation of all the senses - sight, sound, touch, taste and smell.”
Inc. Rooftop Bar is due to open in October.
Krynkyl also includes new seasonal restaurant JORO , another venture from The Milestone.
Historic feast reimagined
A supper club, food education, pop up restaurant and feast form part of Regather Works’ imaginative reworking of the centuries’ old Little Sheffield Town Feast.
Tonight (September 22) the film Our Daily Bread about industrial food production will be shown, while tomorrow craft beer from Sheffield’s smallest breweries will be served in the Sharrow venue. On Saturday Temporary Restaurant will host a pop up eatery from COW BOYS barbecue and burgers, and on Sunday hyper-local food and drink will be served street party style for the feast.
