THE BEST POSSIBLE TASTE

Ever fancy a meal out, but just can’t decide where to go? Now the Sheffield Telegraph’s food writers have come to the rescue with an online guide, featuring our reviews of the area’s pubs and restaurants.

The guide can be accessed on our website under the ‘Food & Drink’ tab. It contains links to all our recent reviews – and we’ll be updating it each week, to keep you in touch with our latest dining out experiences.

HAVE YOUR SAY

Voting closes this week for the 2014 Eat Sheffield Awards – but there’s still time to make sure your favourite restaurants, cafés, shops and food producers gain the recognition they deserve.

This is also your last chance to nominate any local events, individuals or community food projects that deserve a pat on the back.

To cast your vote, or nominate someone you know for a special recognition award, visit the website: Eat Sheffield Awards

GOOD FOOD GUIDE

The Broadfield Ale House is Sheffield’s latest entry to the Good Food Guide, published this week. The Abbeydale Road bar joins an illustrious list including Fischer’s Baslow Hall – the area’s highest entry at number 29 in the top 50 – and the Old Vicarage at Ridgeway, which has merited a place for 27 years now.

ALL CHANGE AT DORE

The former Dore & Totley Station was officially reopened on Monday as Indian restaurant Rajdhani.

MEET THE BREWER

There’s a chance to meet brewers from Peak Ales on the Chatsworth Estate at Rowley’s, Baslow, on September 18. A four-course meal will be accompanied by matching beers. Tickets £40.
