Chart sensation Justin Bieber has lined up his first arena tour in the UK for two years with a series of six shows - including a date in Sheffield.

The teenage star, whose latest album Believe topped the chart this month, is not playing any shows in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, and is restricting his newly- announced shows solely to English cities.

The Canadian singer’s 2013 dates on his Believe tour - announced today - include a performance at the Motorpoint Arena, Attercliffe, on Saturday, February 23.

The 18-year-old Baby singer has toured the UK only once before following his rise to fame in 2009, after American talent manager Scooter Braun discovered a video of Bieber on YouTube.

Bieber brought his My World tour to UK in 2011, including a date at the Motorpoint Arena in March that year.

His fans, often known as Beliebers, will be able to buy tickets when they go on sale on Friday at 9am.

For details and prices, call the Arena box office on 0114 256 5656.
