Elvis will be back in the building when top tribute performer Chris Connor brings the King back to life at Dearne Playhouse, on Friday, June 14, writes Graham Walker.
He’s got the looks, the voice and the moves to earn him the reputation as one of the world’s leading Elvis impersonators.

His latest show - Elvis The Ultimate Performance - will recreate highlights from two of the legend’s most memorable shows, the 1968 Comeback Special and Aloha from Hawaii.
Hits include Burning Love, Blue Suede Shoes, Suspicious Minds, Love Me Tender, Can’t Help Falling in Love, Are you Lonesome Tonight and American Trilogy.
It provides the perfect glimpse of Elvis at the height of his vocal powers, an entertaining genius who had the world at his feet.
Chris has had years of hugely successful experience.
For years he played Elvis in the hit show Legends, in Blackpool; he’s toured throughout the UK, Europe, Australia and America and he’s appeared regularly on TV and Radio.
He’s had two solo tours, one of them accompanied by The Sweet Inspirations - Elvis’ original backing singers.
Now he’s back on the road with Elvis the Ultimate Performance, which he launched at The London Palladium in April.
The tour will take him all over the UK, then to the Lebanon, Memphis and Canada.
