It’s been a big week for Alex Turner, Jamie Cook, Matt Helders and Nick O’Malley. On Friday they headlined the Glastonbury Festival, as part of a summer tour.
First four albums Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not (2006), Favourite Worst Nightmare (2007), Humbug (2009) and Suck It and See (2011), all hit the number one spot.
They’ve had two number one singles, 2005 debut I Bet You Look Good on The Dancefloor and When The Sun Goes Down. Next album, AM, out September 9, was recorded in California.
Tickets for Sheffield, on sale Friday, July 5, at 9am, are £25 and £35 each, booking fee may apply.
