TWO shows in one night - that is the kind of value for money we have come to expect from former Housemartins and Beautiful South superstar Paul Heaton.
He is serving up the special treat for fans to showcase his new album The 8th at Sheffield Lyceum, on Tuesday, July 10.
Not only will he perform his acclaimed new soul opera album - which introduces an 8th new ‘deadly’ sin - he will also be singing his career spanning greatest hits.
Heaton, celebrating his 50th birthday this year, will be accompanied by star of U.S. hit series The Wire, Reg E Cathey, Ivor Novello winning artist Cherry Ghost, ex Beautiful South singer Jacqui Abbott and others.
To mark this Sheffield concert and new album, The 8th, we have two copies of his new record to give away. It is released on Proper Records, on Monday, July 2, 2012.
“I’m not going to spoil it and tell everyone what the 8th sin is. Come along and see the show. In know fans also want the hits and I love singing them,’’ he told The Star, in an exclusive chat.
AUDIO: Listen to our full interview with Paul Heaton - return here on Sunday, July 1, 2012.
