Manor Operatic, whose pantomimes are long-time favourites with Sheffield audiences, today kick off their Christmas season with this classic story.

It has all the elements of a traditional panto, with the lovable princess, the Wicked Queen that everyone loves to boo and the knockabout comedy of the Seven Dwarves.

There’s always some spectacular elements and this year they include a fairy on a trapeze and a little unicorn.

Past shows have included huge waterfalls and a fire-breathing dragon!

Of course, there’s lots of laughs as well, with Simon Hance at the forefront.

Simon has had some big shoes to step into – the long-running Manor Operatic Dame Brian Platts died last month and the show will be dedicated to his memory.

The show runs until January 5.
