Get on your bike! If you win this amazing prize you really will be - with £600 of cycling vouchers up for grabs.

House builder Miller Homes and Don Valley Cycles in Doncaster have teamed up to give the prize, as part of a Get Yorkshire Cycling campaign to celebrate the Tour de Yorkshire.

The competition is now open to all visitors to Miller Homes’ developments across the region. Simply fill in a form with your details before the deadline on May 4. The winner will be randomly chosen and notified by Friday, May 8.

Miller Homes has 10 developments across the region and Don Valley Cycles supplies high quality road and mountain bikes. They are to provide top tips on cycling in Yorkshire including the best routes for families and some challenging trails for the more adventurous, via its social media pages and blog.

“Tour de Yorkshire is going to be a fantastic event for the whole county and we wanted to show our support by encouraging as many people as possible to take to two wheels and discover just what Yorkshire has to offer its cyclists,” said Steve McElroy sales director Miller Homes Yorkshire.

“Several of the Yorkshire Miller Homes team cycle to work or socially at weekends and it’s a great way to keep fit whilst commuting or enjoying relaxation time with friend and family.”

Tour de Yorkshire commences in Bridlington, May 1, and passes through some stunning coastal scenery with Stage 1 finishing in Scarborough. Stage 2 encompasses a sprint route between Selby and York, with Stage 3 taking to the hills between Wakefield and Leeds.

“We’re delighted to support Miller Homes in their quest to ‘Get Yorkshire Cycling’ and discover the enjoyment and health benefits it can bring to people of all ages and abilities,” said Martin Maltby Proprietor Don Valley Cycles and Sponsor of Doncaster Wheelers Cycling Club.

“It’s a great way to get fit, stay fit, explore the fantastic scenery in Yorkshire and meet lots of new people.”

Doncaster Wheelers were the lucky winners of last year’s Miller Homes’ Summer of Sport campaign, which sees local sports clubs pitch for a £500 prize to develop their club, train staff or buy new equipment.
