Arsonists are being hunted by South Yorkshire Police over a spate of fires

Last night a van was torched in Thorpe Bank, Barnby Dun, Doncaster and a sofa was set alight in Cavendish Road, Holmes, Rotherham.

In the early hours of yesterday a Vauxhall Zafira was set alight in Back Lane, Nether Haugh, Rotherham.

At 2am on Saturday a fork lift truck was set on fire in Broadwater, Bolton-upon-Dearne, Barnsley and on Friday night a Vauxhall Meriva was fired in Longley Hall Road, Longley, Sheffield.

Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
