Police have carried out a raid on a Sheffield estate – seizing drugs from the property.

Officers from South Yorkshire Police’s Chapeltown, High Green, Ecclesfield and Grenoside neighbourhood policing teams carried out the operation on Thursday, after being issued with a warrant under the misuse of drugs act.

The raid was carried out in High Green, but officers have not disclosed the address.

South Yorkshire Police said in a statement: “A large quantity of cannabis was located in the address and occupant interviewed under caution.
