Three men have admitted being involved in a street fracas after a man was assaulted.
Sheffield Crown Court heard on November 24 how Sarfraz Razaq, aged 31, admitted assaulting Gulfran Ilyas on August 19, 2018, in Meersbrook, Sheffield, and Qamar Nain and Junaid Maroof, both aged 24, have admitted affray.
Ian West, prosecuting, said there was a dispute between the defendants and Mr Ilyas and as Mr Ilyas was walking home a BMW pulled-up and Razaq got out and assaulted him and others became involved.
Razaq, of Lancing Road, Sheffield, pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and Nain, of Fieldhead Road, Sheffield, and Maroof, of Edgedale Road, Sheffield, pleaded guilty to affray.
Sohail Ali, aged 19, of Madehurst Gardens, Sheffield, pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour after a later confrontation with the complainant.
Judge Roger Thomas QC adjourned the case until January 8 for sentencing.
