Police said a “minority” of people turned up to the large gathering in the car park of Morrisons and Boundary Mill Stores in Catcliffe “driving their cars with no regard for others”.
Tyre marks were left on a pedestrian crossing after “some decided to ‘show off’”, a force spokesperson added.

A Mercedes A Class and a Ford Focus were seized while “a number of” other drivers were punished for offences involving speeding, window tints, number plates and anti-social driving.
Dozens of people were pictured at the meet-up.
The spokesperson continued: “What we found humbling was the thanks from a large majority of people that we spoke to for getting to grips with the trouble-causers.”
