Viraaj restaurant, Chesterfield Road, Woodseats, was nominated in two categories in the English Curry Awards; Restaurant of the Year and Chef of the Year.

The awards showcased the strength, devotion, service and tasty food provided by the best curry houses in the industry.

They honour those who work their hardest to perfect every meal and provide the best possible dining experience.

Viraaj Restaurant is one of the finalists in the awards.

It joins 500 of the most talented and dedicated individuals across England’s curry industry who have all been shortlisted as finalists for the ninth English Curry Awards 2019.

The English Curry Awards 2019 are organised by Oceanic Consulting, the UK’s leading ethnic awards

company, and took place on Monday.

Celebrate the last week of the summer holidays with a new “restaurant week” in Sheffield, from Monday August 26 until September 1.

Offers and events are taking place at four restaurants in Stocksbridge, at the Fox Valley development, from steak nights for two to pizza fun days.
