To help with your entry we have teamed up with Lucinda White, an experienced award writer who runs a bespoke award writing consultancy Pure Awards.

Lucinda works closely with JPI Media Events to assist business owners and marketing teams across the region to prepare for awards across the country.

We are offering this service for assistance with entering the SCR Apprenticeship Awards.

Barnsley College will sponsor the Large Employer of the Year category at this year’s Sheffield City Region Apprenticeship Awards.

We are able to offer you a free place to attend a 90 minute Award Writing Workshop.

Over the last six years, Lucinda has helped many businesses achieve the coveted shortlist with many going on to accept the winner’s trophy.

The Award Writing Workshop will take place via zoom on Thursday, March 25 and Thursday, April 28.

The objectives of the workshop are to gain the valuable insight into the benefits of entering awards, overcome the barriers of preparing your award applications, understand the real ROI of entering awards and give you tips on how you can impress the judges and practical support for when you decide to submit your entry.

Places are limited so it is advisable to book early to avoid disappointment and be ahead of the competition when preparing your entry.

All attendees will be offered discounted packages to further assist you with your entry should you be interested.

Barnsley College have announced that they will be sponsoring the Large Employer of the Year category at this year’s Sheffield City Region Apprenticeship Awards.

As the closing date for awards entries approaches, apprentices across the region are preparing submissions, including several from Barnsley College’s own student community.

David Akeroyd, deputy principal, development and productivity at Barnsley College, said: “We are very proud to support this event which celebrates individuals and organisations involved in apprenticeships across our region.

"Not only does winning an award mean recognition for the apprentice, but it’s also a major morale boost for the company, workforce, training providers and mentors who work so hard to support and encourage them.”

Deadline for the awards is Wednesday, June 30 and the event is held on Thursday, September 23 at The Hilton Garden Inn, Doncaster Racecourse.
