A new business that was born in lockdown, and is based at a well-known city centre restaurant, can help.

Revive Nutrition began when Silversmiths on Arundel Street was forced to close due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Chef started putting their skills to use with meal preparation instead, focusing on dishes to help people focusing on fitness goals or wanting to improve their overall health.

And it proved to be popular as people became more interested in food and cooking during lockdown, or ended up putting on weight as a result.

“A lot of the chefs are quite fitness focused so it seemed a good way to combine the skills we had with something everyone was passionate about”, said William Hatton-Beattie, of IPM Group, which now runs both Silversmiths and Revive.

“It’s now going from strength to strength, we are supplying a number of gyms and individuals too.

"It’s different because these are meals cooked by really good professional chefs who were aiming for Michelin star standards and they are using that to create new meals.”

Silversmiths has now been able to reopen as lockdown eases and the two businesses can operate around each other.

William, of Sheffield added: “All the macro information is on the website and the packaging itself. We do a wide variety of meals to cater for everybody’s needs.

“If someone is trying to bulk up we have more protein rich meals and if someone is trying to be healthy we have vegan or vegetarian dishes that are much lighter.

"A lot of people did discover a love of cooking during lockdown but I also know a lot of people, including me, started putting on weight, so I think that’s why a healthy meal prep company had appeal.

"Silversmiths opens on a Wednesday so that gives us ample opportunity to prep our meals around their opening times.”
