Paddling time for Tinsley pupils on a trip funded by Meadowhall Shopping Centre

Excited youngsters from Tinsley Meadows Primary Academy School visited Whitby on a trip funded by Meadowhall Shopping C entre.

Children aged between five and nine experienced the contrasting sights and sounds of the Yorkshire coast.

Their day included visits to the Captain Cook Memorial Museum, Whitby Abbey and Whitby Lifeboat Station.

Meadowhall covers the costs of transport, activities and food. The experiences provide disadvantaged children with a chance to learn in an outdoors environment.
