Big shots will gather at a country estate for a charity clay shooting day.
The Earl and Countess of Burlington will host the thirteenth annual Derbyshire Charity Clay Shoot, at Chatsworth on Saturday, May 24.
The event will see 40 teams of shooting enthusiasts test their ability on six simulated drives, raising money for Cavendish Cancer Care, The Children’s Hospital, Arthritis Care and The Devonshire Educational Trust.
A contribution will also be made to the Countryside Alliance.
Sally Eustace, Derbyshire Charity Clay Shoot, said: “We still have four gun team spaces available and we’re also on the look out for any raffle prizes that individuals or businesses can donate. We have some amazing ‘money can’t buy’ auction prizes this year too including a driven grouse shoot at Bolton Abbey. The charity auction, conducted by auctioneers from Sotheby’s, is always a highlight of what is shaping up to be another hugely entertaining day.”
