Daredevil Arenacross freestyle motocross bikers will jump over Sheffield’s Tudor Square as they perform a death-defying free stunt show on Monday at 11am.
Arenacross, the indoor version of motocross, takes the spectacular elements of outdoor MX on to purpose-built indoor jump-infested dirt tracks.
It will make its Sheffield Motorpoint Arena debut, for the sixth stop on a seven-round 2014 Arenacross tour, on Saturday, February 15.
Promoters e22 Sports have hand-picked top UK Freestyle Motocross riders to give the city a preview in Tudor Square of how they whip and back-flip 100kg motorcycles in displays of aerial gymnastics.
Barnsley 11-year-old George Simpson, who will attend the Tudor Square event, will make his Small Wheel 85cc machine Arenacross debut at the Motorpoint.
“I’m very excited. It’s going to be an amazing experience,” he told The Star.
