Any cooking tips? Don’t be afraid to experiment. You’ll discover lots of new ideas to impress people.
What’s your favourite dish? Either a traditional roast lamb Sunday dinner, with lots of mint sauce, or salmon en croute.
And a drink to go with it? A glass of very well chilled Zinfandel rosé.
Your favourite restaurant in the Sheffield area? I really enjoy the all-round experience of Cubana in Trippet Lane - it’s a great place for taking friends.
And pub? I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the refurbished Waggon & Horses in Millhouses – their Italian tapas is a great idea!
What’s the worst meal you’ve ever had? A group Christmas dinner, 200 of us, all served at once with plastic turkey, cold gravy and mushy veg. It wasn’t in Sheffield!
And the best? Traditional fish and chips in Whitby.
Your favourite TV cook? Jamie Oliver. I love how he throws ingredients in without any weighing. That’s how cooking should be.
What do you think of Sheffield as a place to eat out? There’s no doubt it’s come on in leaps and bounds in recent years. The variety on Ecclesall Road is brilliant!
