Are you a cook?
Not really! I cook because I have to.

Any cooking tips?
Get someone else to do it if you can!

What’s your favourite dish?
There’s not much I don’t like except sprouts – yuck! I love Italian pasta and dishes with lots of different flavours, probably Mediterranean and not too spicy.

And a drink to go with it?
Definitely a glass of red! Or lager with an Indian dish.

Your favourite restaurant in the Sheffield area?
We like The Peacock at Owler Bar, Loch Fyne and for an Italian meal, it would either be Little Italy in Dronfield, or Kito’s in Woodseats.

And pub?
Got to be the Mossbrook as it’s our local, but I prefer to relax at home with a glass of wine – a whiskey night cap at weekends!

What’s the worst meal you’ve ever had?
I remember eating at Fatty Arbuckles twice (at Valley Centertainment) and being sick after both meals.

And the best?

I love food too much to decide.

Your favourite TV cook?
James Martin on Saturday Kitchen.

What do you think of Sheffield as a place to eat out?
Sheffield is great for its range of places to eat. Where we live there’s an abundance of Indian restaurants… it would be nice to have a local Italian or Mediterranean.
